Reviewed by Teresa Manuel:

Talking about everything I saw and followed along the accomplishment of these screens, I can only by
knowledge I have of course the artist in the last thirty-five years.
Elvira, through its evolution can show that the belief, widespread in the
subject picks up objects, such as they are, has been dismissed, since it is studied more
deeply cognitive phenomenon.
We come to the conclusion that man is not a passive recipient of the world, but a being who
actively intervenes in the phenomenon of perception. The perception of the world is in a sense
construction of the world. Stimuli from the environment and subject endowed with sensory organs,
properly stimulated, are the two poles involved in the perceptual process.
When you look at a picture, hear a piece of music or contemplate a simple
landscape, we feel that such exercises have added something new and
encouragement to our life experience. If we find, in our hearts, who came to extend
while our faculties of feeling and understanding, it's the word BELO that
resorted to define that experience.
In art there are no two pieces alike, since the author is influenced in different ways and
different reasons and facts.
By allying ourselves with seeing the look can be seen in the tables of a world author
imagery of dreams and memories that allow multiple interpretations, in which she recreates the
he sees and feels and new spectator recreates what he sees according to his feelings.
Thus, both the author and the viewer, can infinite interpretations and judgments
value (aesthetic).
The fine stems from feelings that causes the viewer is ephemeral and subjective. The
beauty passes by personal feelings and uninterested in what we see and what objects
they provoke the imagination, with no other purpose than to satisfaction. In beauty
find a balance between opposing forces that exist in humans as a way of
freedom in the sense of freedom, towards the full realization of individual being. For me,
Elvira able to take advantage of color and the techniques used to create textures such as
representation of reality, as identification of ways, conveying sensations to the bottom
are no more than 'moments' of memories, experiences and dreams imaginary.
